Little ride today
« on: April 14, 2024, 06:18:32 PM »
This morning started with a Toby breakfast ( started eating it before took picture 🤣)
Then home to fit the quad lock phone holder ( a Christmas present )
Then out for a ride through some b roads around Essex, stopped to take a few pictures.  Including the one with the heard of dear ( must have been 50 plus sorry about picture quality long way away )
I stopped off to see my brother in the Dementia home he is in as he is 73 today ( sadly he has no idea it is his birthday ☹️ ) I visit him every 2 weeks it is sad to see the poor people that are in there.
It was a lovely Ride only about 70 miles on nice dry roads.

Jealous..

My bike is still in need of repair after my little whoppsie and I am still recovering from my bypass surgery.

But I'll be back on the horse soon enough. I want to get to work on my bike now but my chest is still to weak to put any force into undoing bolts so I must wait a little longer.

That food looks yummy also but I need to cut down on that kind of thing now  :crying: :)))

How is the recovery going ?
I am sure you will be back on the horse real soon 🤞
Just rest up 👍  and when you feel better then have a go at repairing your bike

I do not have a breakfast like that very often just a treat really as I am a diabetic and normally have porridge 🤔

Diabetic, Snap.

But cant beat a good cooked breakie!

Been out fixing the bike today, A good 4 hours or so. But with help from my neighbour who kindly offered to help me out as I just cant do a lot of the work in my current condition. They all fix cars etc all the time so have the know how and tools to help me out.

So the bike is just about ridable. Broke a wire to the headlight so got to get that sorted but then its good to go.

Oh that is great news that you managed to get out and do some work on your bike. With some help from your kind neighbour 👍
You will probably need a days rest tomorrow.  Don’t push it.

Sounds like the bike will soon be ready to go 👍

And hopefully soon you will be ready to go to 🤞
