It's a Bridgestone A41, my second set on the tigger after the horrible O/E Metzeler Next.

Eye infection sorted and the tigger has had some soapy love after it's 1,200 trek through Europe last week. The ferry was interesting as we had to go back to Ijmuiden as a crew member had a 'medical emergency'. Still got in to North Shields on time the next day however.

I took the tigger out for a trundle to scrub the new tyres in on freakishly quiet roads, very eerie.

Today I finally got around to fitting a Delkevic stainless steel exhaust to the tigger. I picked this up very cheap second hand on eBay and it's been languishing around the garage for a while. It took about 10 mins to fit from start to finish which was a surprise at how easy it was, probably down to the single sided swing arm rather than my mechanical genius...
Anyhow, it's a lot quieter than I was expecting (about the same as the O/E Arrow exhaust) but does sound a bit fruitier when the rpm goes up a bit. We'll see how it goes at the weekend. From some homework on various Triumph forums the stock map is more than capable of compensating for an end can, pics below -

Today i put the heated seat back on the bike. It's that time of year. No idea how long it will be until the salt hits the roads but it's starting to get a bit cooler up in Northumberland...

Today, after a cracking run around some deserted single track roads in the borders, I hit the 8,000 mile mark on the tigger. The heated seat came into it's own as it was only 10c when we set off, peaking at a balmy 13c at one point.

Today, myself & Morpeth Matt had a trundle past the Derwent Reservoir in County Durham, up to Chollerford via several diversions & road closures and then over to Rothbury (see pic) which was very busy with bikes. From Rothbury we had a run past Cragside, through Alnwick and then back down the coast managing to avoid any showers.

Today I finished fitting a set of LED fog/auxiliary lights to the tigger. The factory Triumph items it came with were a bit disappointing (and would have been even more so had I paid £360 for them...) and not very bright. So, I have added a set of E marked lights which I cannot for the life of me remember where I bought them from, it wasn't eBay that's all I know. However, I have wired them so that I can run them with the dipped beam rather than just sidelights as per the original. These are much brighter with a very wide spread of light and are the same 10w as the factory items. I've mounted them approximately 4" lower and 2" wider per side onto the upper engine bars. Very happy with the results, see below -
