Nice one Mick. I still can't believe I've never been there on the bike yet ? I've been in the car and I put their electric back on once in about 91/92 when I was working on the overhead lines for Northern Electric, but not on the bike. I must remedy that this year  :thumb:

From a man who's climbed a few in all weathers during 40 years on BT!! :wink:
PS, this visit was on the 'back end' of a trip taking in a bit of your fair county. Very nice it was too.  :thumb:
We were up there a couple of years ago but it rained none stop for the four days...this year the sun shone like a gud 'un!  :thumb:

If I remember correctly the poles were about 12 foot shorter than normal due to the snow ! We had a devil of a time getting in to the area the fault was as the Snowcat shed a track at a less than opportune moment...

So, while up in Scotland for the B/H weekend I took a couple of proud 'sticker' pictures especially for this forum. Number one is looking North before you get to Drumbeg on the B869, cracking little road and the second is just out of Helmsdale on the Kinbrace road, A897.
