While working at a reputable dealers, we had a chinese bike in for repair, recovered after an accident and insurance authorised replacement parts.
Took 4 months to get the bits from the local also reputable dealer who promptly ordered and had to wait.
Some came in two weeks then dribs and drabs over the months.
The bike was 4 months old when it came in to us.
The lad had a loan scooter from insurance.
He traded the lexmoto pile-o-shiyt in after it had been with us for 2 months for a new CB125F.
Iirc he binned that within a few months.
Moral of the story.
If you're going to bin a bike every couple of months: buy cheap Chinese crap as you'll destroy it before any warranty claim needs to be made.
If you're less accident prone, buy Japanese and it should last fairly well.
