Keep on looking, I'd all but given up as I was reluctant to pay between £150 & £200 for a second hand one when this little beauty popped up. Always worth misspelling searches every now and again...

I cracked open the big green box today and ran the Tigger up to temperature. This gave me the chance to fit the heated seat and give it a whirl. I have to say I was expecting it to be hotter but I think over a few hours that extra heat will be a godsend. The only downside is it seems to have a little bit less padding ? If it ever dries out again I'll have to take it for a long run to assess which is best.

Was the container nice and dry ?
Any sign of condensation?

Glad the seat worked ok for you was there any  temperature setting on the seat or just on ?

No, it's fine. The container is remarkably dry and moisture free, The Tigger wasn't 100% dry when I last put it away but it's all nice & dry now. The container has 4 air vents per long side & 2 at the back which really work very well. I thought I was going to have to put a very small tube heater in but it's as dry as a bone in there.
The Tigger comes with three heat settings built in to the left hand switch cluster, low is barely perceptible, med is a very gentle heat and high is pleasant but not quite as hot as I would have liked. It will be a net gain on the heat front so has to be good for chilly days.

Took the Tigger out for a run along the coast to get a few miles on before winter and try out my heated seat. So the positives of the heated seat are it does give off a little bit of heat but could be warmer, but it does help keep you warm. It was 11c today and I didn't feel cold at all. The bad bit is I seem to have lost about 1/2" of legroom which is the last thing I need being on the lanky side. The jury is out at the moment...

Thank you, the white metallic 'Snowdonia white' of the Alpine edition really comes to light with a bit of sun on it. Although I wasn't aware Snowdon was in the Alps...

Before I bought the KTM I went into the triumph dealer in Ashford to buy the tiger Alpine addition my wife and I was standing by the bike with a big smile on my face  as at the time they were doing free luggage I was having a good look at the bike and we had decided I was going to buy a brand new one.
Well we waited and no sign of a salesman we must have waited a good 15 mins then a salesman appeared pushing a bike he ignored us and carried on doing what he was doing my wife went to find him to say we would like to buy a  1200 tiger alpine addition, he came through the door and shouted from the other side of the show room they are all sold and we are not getting anymore then disappeared out the back so I said f++k this place and walked out and went to the KTM dealers in Ashford where they were completely different and couldn’t do enough for  you  and bought the 1290 super Adventurer S.

Rightly so, I would have done the same thing - no excuse for poor service. I have to say I've heard more than a few 'mutterings' about Trumpet dealers but I have to say the bunch at the toon have been spot on. Might just be a Geordie thing ?

I have to admit I could have been lured to the 'orange side' if we still had a KTM dealer in Newcastle. My nearest dealer is 71 miles away (Teasdales) who are brilliant, but still 71 miles away. I used to take my former Moto Guzzi Stelvio there and they were top notch. Ian Bell Yamaha is only a 1 1/2 mile away but Yamaha have nothing I like at the moment. The Tenere 700 is a fabulous bike but I've got more arse than it's got seat...

Everything seems better up north  :thumb: I used to have friends in Sunderland when I used to go up to see them when we went out everyone seemed so friendly and really made you welcome (sadly Dave died a few years ago )
We send our products at work all over the country and when the lorry’s turn up for there loads the northern boys are always spot on  :thumb:
