I was fortunate enough to get them thrown in as a sweetener by Triumph to shift them before the Euro 5 rules came in. As part of the deal I got the three box luggage, fog lights and engine bars all thrown in. When the government announced a 6 month extension to the Euro 5 reg's the deal was cancelled but my order was in. I saved a fortune and got out of my horrible V85tt at a decent price too.

Today I fitted a Delkevic 350mm carbon fibre oval to the tigger. This replaces the 320mm stainless steel tri oval I picked up second hand. It sounds good, with a deep grumble and looks a whole lot better than the stainless item too. Very happy. Tri oval can with no baffle available if anyone is interested ?

Today I set the clock. While messing around I realised I hadn't reset either trip for over 2,000 miles. Those 2,000 miles included a trip to Bourg-en-Bresse in France so a mixture of motorway, side roads and larking about in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. The average MPG over those miles was 53.1, that's very impressive from a heavy 1200, with a heavy rider with a penchant for heavy throttle use. Genuinely surprised by that. The other blank MPG figure in the picture is the instantaneous one which isn't a lot of use to be honest.

That is very good mpg 👍 and also as you say a heavy throttle hand  lol

Well today I fired up both the KTM & The B-King as you can see from the screen the KTM is due for its second service
As it’s not been used at all since last November it has only done 1922 miles I will not be bothering to do anything about the service until I can ride again.

That's a hard to miss yellow banner, I get a little orange spanner when it's service time.

Yes a little spanner would be much better but that’s KTM for you  lol

When it had its first service (600 miles ) they said 9000 miles or a year which ever comes first  lol

Yeah, the tigger is the same, 10,000 miles or a year whichever comes first. I'm averaging just over 4,000 miles a year at the moment and have done for a good few years. It's been a very long time since I did over 10,000 miles in a year. My best ever year on a bike was 25,000 miles but I was young & keen back then and on a Honda CB250RS no less ! Cracking little bike but sadly I have no pictures of it... It was the metallic black with the blue stripe up the tank version, happy days.

Today I fitted some gel graphics to the tiggers handguards. They took a bit of fitting as I had to get everything nice & warm (hairdryer) to make sure it followed the contours & bends. Then give it another blast of heat to fully activate the glue. Very happy with the results however.

Did you get the hair drier back where it belongs with no garage muck, and without being found out? And did you shake your head in bewilderment and ask how the hell they manage to get so much twist in the flex?

Not actually done anything but Lilith's Christmas Present arrived this morning, all the way from Italy in 6 days and with no added import duty  :)))
