Today saw the Tigger in for it's first annual service with a modest 4,500 miles on the clock. It took about two hours and I filled myself with courtesy coffee & biscuits while I waited. I declined all attempts to get me on a Rocket 3 GT because if I liked it I'd have ended up buying one...
But, and here's the kicker, the Tigger needs a new rear shock absorber. Bugger me with a splintered fence post. This does not fill me with confidence but thankfully it was spotted by the tech' (I salute you sir) and is under warranty. Due to the fact it's semi-active & electronically adjustable it's not a straight forward fix and piggin' expensive. The service gadgie reckons it'll come in at around £1,800.00 + VAT with the labour on. Eeeek !
