Cheers, I'm making a conscious effort to take more pictures with great Northumbrian backdrops in them. It's super scenic and I forget that sometimes...

Just interested on what fuel you used yesterday did you still have the premium fuel in the tank ? And if you did have to fill up did have to refuel with E10 or E5 ?

As I will not be able to ride for a few months now, I was wondering how much a litre of fuel will be by then   :bang:
My wife filled my car up for me the other day ( as it is a bigger car to take me for my hospital appointments) at our local Asda £169 a litre for diesel  :wtf:

I used E10 at (I think £1.72 per litre ?) at Jedburgh. I find the Tigger feels a little 'flat' on E10 compared with 'full fat' petrol, especially the 98 octane 'good stuff'. Mind you, it's still bloody nippy on E10 !

Thank you for your reply  :thumb:
Sadly I never got to use the KTM on full fat petrol 😠
In fact all 4 bikes are brimmed full of full fat so I can not wait to be able to ride again realistically it going to be at least 4 months  :bang:

Happy riding and stay safe  :thumb:

Bugger, it's going to seem like a lifetime but (fingers crossed) you'll still catch a bit of summer when you're able. In the meantime live your biking life vicariously on the internet  :thumb:

Had a run out in Leicestershire today with another member of the V-Strom forum. Great day with fairly quiet roads & plenty of sunshine. Oh, & food/cake/coffee etc
Filled the bike from a local (Gulf) petrol station with E5 before we set off @ £1.76 litre. (£0.11 more than the E10)
That station is always a couple of p's cheaper than others around here, I think, because it's all 'pay at the pump', there are no staff on duty.
PS, called into the Triumph factory at Hinkley for the cake.

Today myself & Morpethmatt had a run up to Kielder reservoir and then on to Newcastleton, over the moors to Langholm and then up the A7 to Hawick. From there we headed back through Bonchester Bridge and then back down the A68 and then the A696 and then cut across country & home. Well over 150 miles and on some cracking roads. I even bagged another trio of Northumbrian castles too, with Bothal, Mitford & Kielder. Kielder water was surprisingly calm and was just like a giant mirror today - very rare ! Nice day out.
