Nice bike, looks to be in good nick.

Always fancied one of those, not the later ones.
Thought the 750cc gear deiven cams were a great bit of kit. A mate who worked in the dealers with me let me take his for a spin... loved the v4 sound.

Pity my back would make me regret buying one within 30mins. But still want one, maybe a candy red one.  vrrr

Well yesterday got the service sorted on the Varadero ready for my camping trip in Snowdonia next weekend.

Oil and filter, chain clean and lube, top up scottoiler, cleaned and oiled the K&N air filter.
Genrral wash over.

Shouldn't have bothered with the air filter, it was faily clean with just a few flies in there. But as I'd gone to the ffort of removing the plastics and tank.

Darwinism at it's finest... we need more of this and less of the nanny state!

Everything will sort itself out in the end.

As a phographer and diver... yes those images with good enough visibility are quite possible... not in UK waters, but likely the red sea or the Eastern Mediterranean.
They have certainty been tweaked and colour corrected.
The one looking up toward the surface seems to have been blurred. Maybe to add a bit of mystery.

More or less clocked off for xmas... today we've just sat in the office talking bo###cks as there is no work coming in.

Last 'day' is the 23rd, but it's a midday finish and the pub for a few hours.
Back in on the 4th Jan.

It's the first xmas I've had more than 2 days in a row off as I used to work in retail.
The mrs hates me right now as she's a nurse and gets Xmas day off this year.

I keep reminding her how many days until my 11 days off  :broken:

It's a great weekend.
Nothing overly planned or timed, you're not corralled to go look at the latest bikes/gear or listen to some boring bloke do a talk.

Some dodgy looking bloke with a goatee and a Varadero leads everyone round in circles on a ride out if you fancy it.

Or just sit around the campfire and talk pish. (I'm not allowed near fire since that mishap with the brand new table)

Did no-one think to replace it with a bicycle wheel while they were gone?

This isn't quite what I had in mind when my wife asked me to play doctors and nurses with her.

Has anyone noticed Fat Rat's Karma is at 3000 yet his post count is 74?

I see a smite coming my way.

There is no need to sully my reputation on this forum Andy.

I'm sure I'll manage it myself soon enough.

I kind of feel the same.

Sitting in a cottage in Narbeth, but I feel like nothing has changed and we're about to repeat everything all over again.

Not making any special plans as I feel there's little point as it'll need to be cancelled anyway.

On that note, Andy you'll be seeing me Saturday as there is a Yorkshire type with a Strom in one of your cabins on the weekend.
We've planned a ride.

But apart from the basic check and needing to sort the loose head bearings I'm doing sod all to the bike yet.I think there's not much point in prepping a bike for the next 4k miles
