The Bikers Cafe / Re: Bit of a change from things I used to do
« on: July 07, 2026, 11:17:00 PM »
Been a few days since I last popped in :|

Ditched the degree and the job offer, I had a massive argument with the game's community over children's safety and wanted no part in it after that. Now I'm just broken, unfit for most work, single again and likely to get in trouble with ofcom at some point. zzzzzz

Well, that went well. University canned the course due to low numbers, along with the entire path I was going to progress onto. I ended up changing degree after the first year and promptly had a breakdown. Currently on a study break in the foundation year of a robotics engineering degree. zzzzzz

It seems I have gone from buying grinders from Aldi to fit an exhaust with tape in the middle of a field to....... sewing. I'm going to be sewing for a living.

Officially I'm calling it 'bespoke costume design and manufacture ', mainly as 'fursuit maker with only 3 functional brain cells' isn't recognised as a profession anywhere.

If anyone wants to look like a giant cat, I got ya covered :3

I'd buy the cheapest thing they have listed just to leave negative feedback, bellends

That's a combined intake temp and manifold pressure sensor, I guess the injector is in the head or between the head and throttle body. I'd look at fuel pressure and possibly this sensor. I had weird issues on my Robin that pointed at fuel or ignition system. Swapped coils, leads, plugs, throttle body, ECU and the entire fuel supply system. Even after swapping in another engine it still gave me trouble. Turned out the lambda sensor was crusted up but only gave issues when cold, a time when the lambda reading isn't even used. EFI is a bitch to diagnose without reading fault codes and live sensor data.

Unless SMF has a plugin for mobile layout, it would be a complete ball ache to do. Lemme know if I can be of help though, web dev is kinda my thing.

I may have left this a bit too late, given my lack of transport xD

Fuel pump or clogged filter possibly. May be worth a fuel pressure check.

My Enhanced DBS check was completely clear, had a sneaky feeling amnesia was keeping something from us but turns out it was just an unhealthy dose of anxiety. I think not putting my old landlord in hospital was a good move in the end.

Is a 156 TS with a Momo leather and mahogany interior. Got a Diesel for spares too and the turbo bolts straight on, that and new cams and it'll be a bit of a rocket. If I could get hold of a running scrap Busso I'd do the engine swap, 2.5 or 3.2 v6 :D

I look like a dude, a goth chick and goblin all at the same time  :)))

Confuses the most sober of sober people, never mind the more lubricated members of society.
