I thought it might pick up a bit as winter is all but upon us?

That could easily have you off your bike. You need to have your head on a swivel these days for the damn things. As it's summer the biggest hazzard we have in Northumberland at the moment are dead animals in the road. These go from mice/rats/squirrels (nuisance) to badgers & foxes (very dodgy, particularly badgers as they are solid) to deer (piggin' lethal)! That's on top of the pot holes & gravel... I'm pleased you're getting on with the HD, it's just great to be out biking! Great pics and I have to confess I have a soft spot for the Indian Tracker. I sat on one at the bike show a couple of years ago and it just felt right. Desperately impractical mind, but they look great.

I'm doing good, although a week in Menorca hasn't hurt. I'm just about to come to the end of my stage 2 rehabilitation this week so I'll be moving over to stage 3. The only downside is it is entirely during the day but I can work it around my lunch and just stay a bit later to make up for it. We've got a nice shower at work so I can get changed each way at work. Mondays are fine as I'm only doing 3 days a week since my little 'episode' last year.

Fingers crossed for your return, if it feels too much say so! Good luck  :thumb:

We have a few of the waistcoat wearing types around our way, usually on very noisy bikes!

I should have added I removed the incredibly restrictive airbox and fitted a Ramair filter kit. That alone is worth around 15hp!

I have to say I miss my former Rocket 3 Touring on sunny days and could make room for one. I have noticed the prices have firmed up a bit on them in the last year or so. Gratuitous picture of my former bike -

(you can't really see, but I'd converted it to a single pipe with a piece of car flexi pipe in lieu of the collector box hidden neatly under the original cover and a Harley Davidson Electraglide 'performance' silencer. It was a bit loud but added a LOT of HP by getting rid of both catholic converters & the highly restrictive collector box. A remap showed 138bhp at the rear wheel and the ability to wheelie in third and spin the rear wheel in the wet in top gear!)
