Hi all from Nelson.
I'm an expat Geordie living among the posh gits in Cheltenham. Lost me accent years ago (me mates call me a "soft southern Jessie") but they still can't understand me aroond here.
I'm a serial bike buyer (over 50 in 43 years) and have had three DL650's including my current 2017 model which I've had since Aug 1st 2019 and put 26,000 miles on it - not bad considering lockdown.
I'm growing to hate the DL650, as I desperately want to buy a new bike, but every time I test one it falls short in one area or another, even if its just price. For example my mates Triumph 800 is lovely, better suspension, finish perhaps, more powerful (don't need it) but cost a heap more. How can I stop these cravings? (buy a newer DL springs to mind!)

I have been there too! Wanted to replace the Vstrom, ended buying more accessories for it. It's hard to find a replacement unless you have deep pockets ( or at least deeper than mine ).
