Title: My V-Strom
Post by: Asmith61 on January 23, 2024, 04:45:36 PM
Today during my lunch break I uncovered my V-Strom which was last uncovered 02 August 2022 where I started it up and found it had a fuel leak while it was running.
With thanks for the help from Rixington43 and Kwackboy I know now what we think the problem is and I am hoping to get chance to fix the problem in the next few weeks 🤔

Interesting. If I remember correctly it's not too bad a job to get the tank up to get at the fuel injection gubbins. I removed the secondary throttle plates from mine, removing the restriction in 5th & 6th gear & sharpening up the throttle response. No more running out of breath at about 120mph - in Germany, of course....

 lol
That is interesting mate I might have to have a look at mine 🤔
I do hope I can get on the V-Strom again if not I might have to sell it  :crying:
It would be like selling one of the family  lol
Not sure why I can post pictures on here but not on the V-Strom site ? I have put a message on site feedback.

I've noticed the V-Strom site is a bit 'particular' when it comes to pictures. I've found resizing them can help, even just by 10% ?

When I normally post the pictures it normally allows me to resize them to actual size, large, medium or small but it no longer gives me the choice it just says DONE then will not post ????  :bang:
