I enjoyed Hardknott Pass, although, I did it on a brand new bike that I wasn't completely used to (Tiger 1050) and I should have thought that through

Yes, The Hardknott is a great ride on an adventure style bike; my sister didn't thank me for leading her up there on her CBR600RR  :)))

Too many to mention. Along with some great roads in the UK we have ridden some cracking roads & passes in The Pyrenees & The French Alps.
If I did have to pick I'll go with Col de la Bonette or Dol de L'iseran, both in the French Alps.

For me, there's many however, If I was to pick one that stood out,  Italy's Amalfi coast road .. best 40 or so miles of road in Europe ..

Blakey Ridge, from Hutton Le Hole to Castleton in North Yorkshire.
Great road, fantastic moorland views and  great sightlines with hardly any straights.

I'll agree with Kwakboy. The Amalfi coast road is one of the best I've ridden and on scooters like the locals.

Abergwesyn pass is another and so is many of the roads between Loch Lomond and Otter Ferry we rode as a group from V-Strom forum in 2014. Just dont stop and take your lid of or the midges will get you.

I have a list in my head of the great roads around Wales, but that's a trade secret or I'll loose the following hoards from another forum.

Obviously this is due to my personal experience,  some of the best rides I ever had were in the North of Spain. Smooth tarmac and twisted mountain roads.
Keep riding 🐟

It would be a toss up between,The Pyrenees,The Picos and The Hartz mountains, but I think the eventual winner would have to be the N240 through the Pyrenees.👍

In my opinion most of the B roads in Devon and Cornwall are brilliant, sad though that every winter ruins the surface a little more. God knows when our roads are going to be resurfaced propperly.

Still, if the road surfaces get so bad that we have to ride slower than the speed limit, the views are usually very nice too.   :)))

Ditto, both stunning roads with spectacular scenery  :thumb:

The Little St Bernard Pass has stunning views and is unspoilt by tourism (or was til I wrote this).

Any of the roads in the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors and even the M62 (heading out of Hull)
